Legal draft for MVP validation

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 3, 2026

1. Overview

ReplyPilot helps local businesses generate and manage replies to Google reviews. This policy explains what data the MVP may collect, how it is used, and what choices users have.

This is a product-ready draft, not legal advice. Have a qualified attorney review it before public launch.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information such as email address and password hash.
  • Review content submitted by the user or synced from Google Business Profile.
  • Generated reply drafts, usage counts, subscription status, and billing identifiers.
  • Google OAuth tokens after the user authorizes access.
  • Notification email settings and email delivery logs.
  • Basic technical information such as request timestamps and application events.

3. How we use information

  • To create and secure user accounts.
  • To generate AI reply options for customer reviews.
  • To sync, display, and publish Google review replies when authorized.
  • To enforce monthly usage limits and manage subscriptions.
  • To send review notification emails and product updates requested by the user.
  • To improve reliability, security, and product performance.

4. AI providers

Review text and related context may be sent to an AI provider to generate reply options. Users should not submit sensitive personal information in review drafts unless necessary for the business purpose.

5. Google data

If a user connects Google Business Profile, ReplyPilot requests access only for review-management features. Google OAuth tokens are stored server-side and are not sold or shared for advertising.

6. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. ReplyPilot does not store full credit card numbers. Stripe may provide subscription status, customer ID, and payment event metadata.

7. Data retention and deletion

Users may request account deletion or disconnection of Google access. After deletion, operational records may be retained only as required for security, compliance, billing, or dispute resolution.

8. Contact

Before launch, replace this placeholder with the business support email and company mailing address.
